- Her going is not the problem it just that I don't want her to get to attached and not want to come back to reality
- rising action
- This was Melanie and her mothers life everyday. The streets were so crowded it was almost as if they were dozens of ants squished together in one small cage. it didn't help that they had to wear theses uncomfortable eye and face mask to prevent the polluted air getting in their lungs.
- Climax
- Melanie no! Come back!
- Melanie thought back to the time her parents half promised she could go to the Natural Park the only place in the world where she could see her favorite animal the flamingo and any other wild bird. She just couldn't get it out of her head.
- failing action
- when the last flamingo died, we thought people ought to see what they looked like. so we put that fake one at the edge of the lake it fools most visitors...
- Melanie and her father got out of the helicopter that was flying her above the clouds so gray they looked like the gray stones outside her house. As soon as they got out of the helicopter Melanie darted towards the woods hoping to find at least one flamingo.
- resolution
- Melanie started to cry, hard. She couldn't believe it her favorite animal her fire bird no longer existed? she could hear her father running towards her but all she could think about was she would never get to see a real flamingo ever.
- As the caretaker explained why there were no more flamingos and why there was a fake one, Melanie stared to calm down she knew what she had to do.
- Melanie knew she had to be mature even though it hurt to know that the flamingo went extinct she knew she had to get over it and grow up. so she pit the fake flamingo back up , wiped her tears and walked back to the helicopter with her dad.
