This is from 1971-Now, and it is a lot quieter than the past periods, there are several major events going on, but none of them affect the sport world, but some ones I will mention are the Watergate scandal, the discovery of AIDS and Al-Qaeda, The Cold War, and 9/11, along with Covid-19, the world experienced a lot of tragedy in this time.
This was a time of fear and confusion, as people were going through a pandemic, and terrorist organizations coming out of nowhere, we really couldn't tell what would happen next, and it was all because the world was power hungry, all becasue of the different beliefs that clashed with eachother.
Sports are now bigger and better than ever. Women have now been included and are able to compete, and the professional scene has now exploded and become the biggest stages to play on. The preventation of childhood obesity is also a huge factor in the growth in Physical Fitness, and more technology coming up, children are being less active, leading to more obseity levels.
