- As a young child, Anurak witnessed many wrongs inside of his small town. He was born a Sudra, but he always felt bad for the untouchables below him, which had to do disgusting works.
- Inside the city, there were richer people, with better clothes and well-paying jobs. Anurak looked at them sometimes, to see if he could learn anything.
- Sounds good to me!
- Buddhism gives you many freedoms that Hinduism cannot provide.
- Then there was the Kshatriyas. They were the government officials, and the Raja. He did not like how they treated the Sudras like him.
- Then there were the priests. He actually knew one of them. He used to hold public Hindu gatherings. He taught the Priests were the highest you could be and they devoted their lives to Hindu.
- As he grew up, the religion of Buddhism became popular. As he read about it, he began liking it.
- When he grew up, he and his family became determined buddhists, and the kingdom of which they lived in did not have the corrupt social class system.
