- Hi, I am a neurologist. How can I help you?
- Me and my brother Anvay want to know about the things you do.Can you tell me the job of a neurologist?
- My job is to study the nervous system and check if the brain is working properly.
- Can you tell us which branch is science - neurology?
- What are the types of nervous system?
- It is the branch of medicine. It is used to deal with diagnosis and categories of conditions and diseases involving brain, spinal cord, or peripheral nerves
- What are the different types of nerves cells/ neurons?
- There are 2 types of nervous systems. Central nervous system and Peripheral Nervous system. Central nervous consists of brain and spinal cord and Peripheral nervous system consists of nerves.
- There are 3 types of neurons. Sensory neurons, Motor neurons, and Mixed neurons.
- What about the function of these neurons.

- Sensory nerves are used to detect and respond to external signals via receptors. Motor nerves is a neuron which is used to project the spinal cord or outside the spinal cord to directly or indirectly control effector organs. Mixed neurons have the same function as sensory neurons and motor neurons.
