The new abortion control law requires that minors under 18 years of age to have a parent's consent to the procedure
Including a 24 hour wait period from the procedure
Planned Parenthood v. Casey
Then you can continue procedure without further consent, however, if you are married, you need to notify your husband of the procedure.
But what if I'm over 18 years of age?
That's outrageous! I shouldn't need anyone's permission, it's my body!
Your Honor, the issue is: Can a state require women who want an abortion to obtain informed consent, wait 24 hours, if married, notify their husbands, and, if minors, obtain parental consent, without violating their right to abortion as guaranteed by Roe v. Wade?
The Supreme Court decided 5-4 to uphold the principles of Roe v. Wade but still uphold most of the pennsylvania abortion control laws.
What does this mean now?
This means that most of the laws are still intact, except for ones like the husband law, however they are much more policed, as Roe v. Wade can be used to check these laws into place.
