We have finally managed to approve the degree to allow the creation of provincial boards in Spain!
It was on September 24, 1810 when the Cortes of Cádiz approved its first decree aimed at creating the first Constitution of Spain.
It took two years before the Cortes were able to strip the monarch Ferdinand VII of all his powers to create a constitutional regime. It was formulated in Cadiz on 19 March 1812, Saint Joseph's Day, and was known as "La Pepa". It lasted two years until Ferdinand VII abolished it, but it laid the foundations for the future of constitutionalism in Spain.
As one of the framers of the 1812 Spanish Constitution, I'm thrilled to announce its enactment, marking a pivotal moment in our nation's history. With this constitution, we've established principles of national sovereignty, the separation of powers, and individual rights, embodying the spirit of progress and enlightenment.
This document not only modernizes our governance but also serves as a beacon of hope, inspiring similar movements for freedom and democracy worldwide.
Now i can finally vote! thanks to the new constitution that includes universal Male Suffrage
