- the climate in the southern colonies was always hot. The temperature was fitting for farming.
- Education in the south was not a regional priority. Lower class and slave children did not have no opportunities that everybody else had. thecommunity was very different then other regions and everything was done in homes.
- the southern government were less structured and less concerning for the rural people.

- the middlecolonist were taught the basicskills ineducation and they got taught the trade. the upper class were the tutors for the lower class people
