  • Emily is suffering from Depression. She has just arrived at school and doesn't want to be there due to the symptoms of depression resulting in her not wanting to interact in anything social.
  • I think it would be helpful to go speak with a teacher or professional about what your going through
  • Due to the symptoms of depression making Emily feel so down, she cannot hold in her emotions anymore and started crying. Luckily Emma picked up on her ongoing signs of depression.
  • After seeing Emily, Emma approached Emily and asked her if she is feeling ok. Emily feels alright to open up and explains that one of her family members passed away not long ago which was the reason she developed Depression.
  • As Emma knew Emily was suffering Depression from her past experiences, she advised that she went to speak to a professional and discuss strategies to help her cope.
  • Emily and a professional sit down and have a chat about what she has gone through and discussed ways to feel better. This can help Emily deal with her loss as it is way of unloading her emotions to help her get through Depression.
  • After a long chat, Emily gets back on the school bus at the end of the day feeling better than she did, knowing that an external person outside her family cares and is there to support her. This can help her get through her loss and begin her journey out of Depression.
