  • (Conflict)The Monkeys Paw is an Object that grants wishes to people but at a Cost.All Wishes Granted Come At a Price like someones Life.

  • Mr and Mrs White have a visitor come over After hanging out and telling tales one of his Tales is about a monkey paw he has in his pocket he tells the family that it has the ability to grant three wishes but he also tells "The last person who had the paw before him Wished for Death as his Last Wish."
  • Falling Action
  • The Visitor Leaves but leaves with a warning to the family that if they want to wish for something wish for something sense able.Instead the decide to wish for 200$ Pounds so they could pay off their house Nothing happens so the family puts the paw on a shelf and leaves it to go off to sleep.
  • Resolution
  • The Next Day Mr White and their Son go out to work everything is normal until a Man Knocks on the Door and tells Mrs White the bad news her Son was killed by the machinery.Mr and Mrs White are given "200$ Pounds" in compensation for their Son's death.(The Monkeys paw granted their wish but at the price of their Son Herbert.)
  • Theme
  • 10 days Pass the wife wakes up Mr White and asks his to wish back their son he tells her she should go to sleep but after a while his wife convinces him to use the paw to wish back Herbert. (Even though he knows it's a bad idea to do so.)
  • Both Mr and Mrs White wait for awhile then the finally notice a figure walking toward their house and the wind starts to pick up and both start to hear knocking Mrs White Rushes to the Door while Mr White looked around to find where he dropped the monkeys paw once he finds it He uses his last wish to undo his 2nd wish. (The End)
  • The theme of the story could be that "All actions have consequences" based on how in the story the paw may grant any wish But at a great cost example being When Mr White wished for 200 pounds to clear the house they got the money but they also lost their son Herbert because of the wish.
