- Mom, I am considering getting a job since I'm 16 now. Do you think that's a good idea?
- It's up to you to make the decision, but when I was your age, that's when I got my first job. You'll have to consider the pros and cons of this descion.
- hmm, my pros are -gaining extra money for things I want.-having stuff to do instead of being bored at home.but my cons are-not as much social time-commited to the job so I can't just leave.I think I'm going to check out the grocery store downtown and see if they're hiring.
- Well, I guess it's my time to shine.
- WE ARE HIRING16 AND OVER
- Thank you so much sir, I will be available to start tommrow.
- ... I have decided to hire you, when are you avaiolable to start. We will be able to give you as many hours as possible.
- The next day after working her first shift...

- Mom, I just finished my first shift, I am so excited to be earning money with all my free time now.
