- Some tips to deter Identity theft is to protect your SSN and in your case DO NOT give your credit card info over the phone bozo.
- Ways to detect Identity theft is to check your credit and bank statements frequently. Don't give out information to anyone asking on the phone. But nobody really falls for that except Elderly and Bozos
- Well a free credit report can determine whether you can get credit and how much it costs you to borrow money
- Anyways, some tips on how to defend yourself against Identity Theft are like I said before call your credit company and place your reports on fraud alert. Some companies may see this as a ploy to cancel payments. This is why they check your credit report but I forgot what that is.
