- Well Kate, verbal communication is the use ofauditory language to exchangeinformation with other people. It includes sounds, words, or speaking.
- Like the tone, volume, and pitch of one'svoice can all contribute to effectiveverbal communication.
- Maam Lilian, what does verbal communication mean?
- But Ma'aam Lilian what does Non-verbal communication mean?
- You're welcome kate!
- This includes gestures, facialexpressions, body movement, timing,touch, and anything else thatcommunicates without speaking.
- We are on to that Allianah so Non-verbal communication is communication between people through non-verbal or visual cues.

- We have Seven Types of NonverbalCommunicationStrategies.
- Anyways I will be discussing the Facial Expression.
- Sadly I need to discuss one of them because we have a short period of time, so I will be assigning all of you to read chapter 66 of your English book.
- We have the Facial Expression, Paralinguistic, Gestures, Body Language and Posture,Proxemics, Eye Gaze, and Haptics!

- Facial Expressions are responsible for ahuge proportion of nonverbalcommunication. Consider how muchinformation can be conveyed with a smileor a frown. The look on a person’s face isoften the first thing we see, even before wehear what they have to say.
