Welcome to Mohenjo-Daro Civilization in South Asia. We are located on the Indus River.
3300 BCE-1300 BCE
We commonly use the water from this river to drink, wash, an irrigate our crops!
The home in Indus Valley were usually pretty small, and also used as work shops. So people spent a-lot of time outside.
.People would often use their rooftop as an extra room that could be used as a cool place to sleep on at night, or place to sit withfriends.
The great bath was most likely used for ritual bathing, to purify and renew well being.
People were not aloud to enter the bath if they were poor or not pure.
The water from the shower trays would drain from the house out to the streets through pipes connecting them.
People would stand on shower trays and tip water on themself's to keep clean. It was very important to them to have good hygine.
(These are the toilets found in Indus Valley)
Seals might have been used like labels, to show who owned a sack of grain!
Seals are commonly used to seal the rope around bundles of goods for trades.
They would often travel by boat to trade things like spices, textiles, and precious mmetals!
Yes, what do you have to trade?
