  • Apichu (Editor)
  • Maricanchi
  • Calla Conchui
  • Bob (Reporter)
  • Architects:
  • Huallpa Rimachi
  • Pachacuti (King)
  • Acahuana
  • Yes, Apichu! I'll interview Pachacuti and the four architects he assigned to build Sacsayhuaman.
  • Bob, I've heard across valley that the king, Pachacuti, started construction on a new monument called Sacsayhuaman. I want you to find out more about it for a front page cover on the Rolling Stone.
  • I'd love to talk about Sacsayhuaman, but be sure you don't twist my words in the Rolling Stone. Sacsayhuaman will be a fortress that will house at least 1,000 warriors to protect the capital. I named it Sacsayhuaman (satisfied hawk) because hawks are one of the most common birds here and they can use it as a resting place after a succesful hunt or fight.
  • Your majesty, my editor has assigned me to do research on this majestic monument you are building. If I may, I'd like to ask a few questions. What purpose will Sacsayhuaman serve, and what inspired you name it Sacsayhuaman?
  • How should I approach them?
  • Im so excited to start working on this new project. Our names are going to be remembered forever!
  • Mister Huallpa Ramachi, are you going to change your original techniques for the construction of Sacsayhuaman?
  • No! Why would we do that? Our trapezoidal shaped rocks have worked for centuries and it shows how much work we put into getting the angles perfect.
  • Maricanchi, where did you get these gigantic stones and how did you get them around our rocky terrain?
  • We extracted the rocks from the surrounding mountains and used our advanced road system that goes all throughout our territoy to transport them here.
  • Stop chit-chatting!
  • Acahuana, did Sacsayhuaman have an outline using more maluable material than these stones?
  • Yes, we used mud and clay for our original build and then we reinforced the fortress with stones that we knew our enemy would have trouble knocking down.
  • Ahhhh! How did this little kid get inside the fortress?
  • Calla Conchui, what are other reasons you built Sacsayhuaman, other than it being a housing place for soldiers?
  • We believe Sacsayhuaman can also be used as a temple to celebrate rituals and sacrifices to our Sun God.
  • Run!
  • Boss, I got the perfect front page cover for the Rolling Stone. Sacsayhuaman will change the lives of our people and our readers need to know about it.
  • Perfect, we needed a story like this!
