- Wow! Harry, this is an invisibility cloak, it's very rare and very valuable.
- At Christmas day, Harry and Ron were alone at the dormitory opening their presents. Harrys last present was an invisibility cloak that came with a letter that said that it was from Harrys father.Ron was impressedbecause this cloak is very rare and valuable.

- Harry went to the library to read things about Flamel wearing the invisibility cloak. but the first book he opened let out a bloodcurdling shriek that he could not stop, so he had to flee the library.

- When he was returning to his dormitory he saw Filch and Snape blocking his path, so he entered in a disused classroom. when they passed,Harry saw a large mirror with a inscription carved into the top, which translated: I show not your face, but your heart's desire."
