Addy Morgan Fever

Fever 1793 is a story about a girl name Mattie who survived yellow fever. My favorite scene is when, there were robbers and Grandfather died. Mattie was looking for some food after being dumped on the side of the road. She found some pears. Then Mattie passed out. She woke up at Bush Hill. SHe got better and went back to the coffeehouse. When she got there the coffeehouse was robbed. Later that night she was sleeping and she woke up from a sound. People were breaking in. She hid in a corner. One of the robbers found Grandfather’s sword, and was swinging it. “No! She screamed. Grandfather woke up from the sounds. The robbers were attacking themm. While they were not looking Mattie grabbed the sword and was swinging it at the robbers and chased them down the street. She decided to head back to checked on Grandfather. He died a few moments later and Mattie cried. This scene is important because Grandfather dying and Mattie is left alone.
