- FYI it was just a conversation that lasted about a minute
- The plane ride was a surprise for me. I just experienced the unexpected. She had changed so much. It was a bit awkward considering the last time we were saw each other we were literally roommates and now it feels like we are just strangers to each other. We said these two sentences and didn't say anything the rest of the plane ride.
- Lucia is that you?
- Can't tell if you meant it in a mean way or not but I can say the same about you
- Well being a twenty two year old adult in Iran was not going to work out for my future so I am coming to France to truly find myself and my future
- Marjane? Wow you changed..alot!
- What are you doing going to France? I have to visit my cousins for a major Catholic event that is happening
- I knew I was not going back to Iran and I probably will still miss it. But I knew France will really help me build my career in the arts. Living in Iran would have not led me to a good path in my pursuing of art. All I hope is for there to be sunshine to the end of my tunnel which I have not seen in so long.
- I won't be back for a while mother and father but I will certainly come back in being successful in my career of the arts. I promise to make you guys proud, after all I am an Iranian.
- Flash forward 5 years.. I guess dreams do come true. I am in the city of Paris starting my path of becoming a cartoonist. It seems as my luck has suddenly changed because I met a guy and I have been dating him for 5 years now and his name is Mattias. I get a feeling with him that I have never gotten with any other guy which is believing that he is the one for me and is my ultimate soulmate. Aapart from that, I have an idea to write about myself through a graphic novel that portrays the hardships of an Iranian during the war. But this is just an idea, we will see.
