  • This is going to be the worst day. I lost something very important to me and I can't find it anywhere!
  • Let's go, Kim! You're going to be late for school!
  • I can't wait to learn about mindfulness today!Yeah, but what's for lunch?
  • What's the matter, Kim? Why are you so sad?
  • Did you forget to do your math homework?
  • I still can't find it. I AM SO MAD!
  • Mindfulness is bringing attention to the present moment. How are you all feeling right NOW?

  • I feel scared!
  • I feel worried.
  • I feel calm because I woke up this morning and said my daily affirmations just like you taught me!
  • I am still mad and I don't think this will help, but I will try.
  • We will do it with you, Kim, then we can help you find what you lost.
  • Breathe in for 5 seconds. Breathe out for 5 seconds. Repeat this a few times and you will relax. Then, you'll be able to find what you're looking for.
  • Kim, remember what you learned in class. If you're feeling angry, sad, nervous, or scared, take a deep breath.
  • All I need is within me right now.
  • Remember to silently say your affirmations as you breathe.
  • I did it! I found what I was looking for! It was my breath! I had it all along. I just needed to be reminded on how to use it! I feel so much better now!
  • I am so proud of you!
  • Just think of everything you can do now that you know how to use your breath. You can do anything you set your mind to!
