  • Hey Noelle! Mr Drakes class is really confusing me. Do you mind explaining the powers of congrss to me ?
  • Sure! Let me take you on a journey...
  • Well...Firstly, Congress has a few expressed powers. One being the power to collect taxes, borrow money, print money, establish bankruptcy law, and punish counterfitters.
  • Woah! How'd we get here?! Why are we at a bank?
  • BANK
  • Ahh! Its so barren here in these trenches...
  • I brought you here to tell you another legislative expressed power. Its Military powers! Congress can declare war, raise and support an army and navy, and regulate a militia.
  • Oooo, quite interesting!
  • Oh, we are back.
  • Yes! I must mention that with all of these expressed powers. Congress has some implied powers too. These would be the right to create a bank and establishing a minimum wage.
  • Finishing up our adventure you must remember this important fact. Congress is limited by The Bill of Rights. Our freedom of speech can never be limited!
  • Ahh what a relief. I was starting to think that congress could do anything!
  • So here ends our educational journey! Do you think you understand now?
  • Yeah! It all makes sense now. Im going to ace this test. Lets party!
