Beowulf was in the mist of the fight when he ended up at the bottom of the marsh. Beowulf was down their for many hours and nearly drowned but he worked hard to fight the drowning sensesations.

Beowulf has a sword that he takes into the battle. That sword breaks and on grendels moms prize wall he finds a large sword once used by giants that only beowulf can pick up.

Beowulf wins the battle and his prizes are the handle of the giants sword and the head of grendel. He was also praised dearly, after his victory.

When he returns home the kings son has no heir and beowulf is chosen to become king. He was king for fifty years and was the most well liked by his people.
A man steals a cup from a dragon. That angers the dragon and he attempts to gain revenge for what has just happened. The dragon comes to the hall and burns everything in sight. Beowulf men Leave him and only one man is left. Beowulf picks up a sword and strikes the dragon with it but he did that after suffering fatal wounds.
He had a massive funeral and there was a massive build built to rember him. He was immortal now just like he wanted when he fought Grendel.
