James and JJ went to go play basketball in their schools gym for a while, and it was going good, JJ watched James shoot around. So after a while JJ asked for the ball. But she didnt know James was sick, and neither did he. He coughed in his hand, kept shooting, then passed it to JJ when she asked for it. And thats where the problem started.
JJ touched the ball, but little did she know James had strep throat, and its highly contagious. As soon as JJ touches the ball and put it by her face and took a breath before her shot, her body started reacting to the Infection. The neutrophills respond first to the infection and start to try to kill it off.
JJ gets home and the infection is still there. And with that the T- Cells get to work
When the infection first enters the body, the T-cells get to work to go kill the infection, they do this by creating antibodies to fight infection. But JJ's had strep before, so once the body recognizes the infection the B-cells come to replace the T-cells instead, Because the B - cells store memory and remember how to kill the infection better than t cells would be able to.
Eosinophils come and attack some of the infection in her body that she could be allergic too while walking home. basophils normally only are needed for their histomine, but because JJ isnt having an allergic reaction, none are needed.
After the infection is killed what happens to the dead cells? well the Monocytes take care of that and come eat the dead cells so there's no more left in the body.
