- English Scientist that was the first to discovery cells in 1665.He only thought cells was only in plants. He sayed that the cork cells was from the plant and it didn't change fro plant to cork.

- Robert Hooke
- A Scotish botanist that discovered the nuclues in 1828. Found out what happens in the cell that makes it grow and what is needed to have a new plant.
- Robert Brown
- Was one of some that believed that cells come from preexisting cells that become the foundations of divison of cells in 1821. That made him good with making medicine,because from knowing to stop divison of cells .
- Rudolf Virchow
- Their are two groups of phenomeno of individual cells.Also, cells have independent life and they are structured in different way.That cells develope over time as tissues or by its self.He did some of the things with Schleiden. Co founder with Schleiden of the Cell theory.
- Theodor Schwann
- Created microscope that could zoom to 270x diameters.He looked at Plant and Animal tissues.Also,first to see bacteria and describe it. Looked at crystal and fossils that could find the dead cells from the fossil and crystals.
- Anton Van LeeuwenHoek
- Found out all plants are made out off cells.While working with Schwann,he found the importance of a nucleus.Also, the cell divison thing.The first German Biologist to accept Darwin's Theory of Evolution. Co founder of the Cell theory with Schwann.
