- Once upon a time, there was a happy family living in their house in the suburbs. They had two pets, a trustworthy housemaid and an itinerant gardener.
- Do not take on anyone off the street.
- The husband's wise old witch of a mother cautioned everyone to be careful of the people outside.
- They took heed of her words and built protection around the house. Electronically controlled gates were fitted, metal bars were installed, alarm systems were implemented, and a talking system was connected to the front of the house.

- Although the other residents had also built protection, reports still came in regarding intruders breaking in and stealing valuable items. The family was distressed by this and decided to set up sharp metal coils on their walls to prevent anyone from climbing in.

- The little boy was playing pretend when he got stuck in the barbed wire. His screams caused everyone to run outside, but he was not rescued in time.
- The family bemoaned the death of the little boy and carried him into the house.
