  • Igneous ROCKS
  • IGNEOUS ROCK
  • IGNEOUS ROCKIgneous Rocks are formed by lava or magma. When Lava is in contact with the Rock it heats up the rock. Since most volcanoes are near water water comes in contact with the molten rock which comes to form crystlization and get to its formation
  • SEDIMENTS
  • SedimentsSediments are formed from weathering and erosion. Weathering can cause erosion for example: Earthquakes, Tsunamis or any other type of crazy weathers. When erosion happens it causes water to gain energy which cause rocks to dessolve or either to break apart. making it little pieces of sand or minerals called sediment
  • SEDIMENTARY ROCK
  • Sedimentary Rock is composed of many sediments or minerals that build up on each other that form layers. Sedimentary rock is formed of old rock that is washed up from erosions and are cemented with the deposited sediments. Sedimentary rock can become very large from lots of sediments that build up and add on to the rocks that are already formed. theyr'e 3 different types of sedimentary rocks, Clastic sedimentary rock: made up of broken pieces of mineral, chemical sedimentary: form when minerals crystalize its shape, Biochemical: made of organism or remaining organism
  • SEDIMENTARY ROCK
  • Metamorphic rock
  • Metamorphic rock form deep in Earth's surface. Your probably wondering, How did scientist discover the rocks then? Well they are actually brought up to Earths surface y uplift. They are brought of by the energy of heat
  • MAGMA
  • Magma is Molten rock that is under Earths surface. When magma is on Earth's surface it's called lava.
  • COOLING & CRYSTALLIZATION
  • Cooling and CrystallizationCooling & Crystallization occurs in forming most rocks. Before crystallization occurs cooling has to be done with to make the rock a solid formation. That is why most rock are solid because crystallizing and cooling. When the magma cools on the rocks crystals grow at different tempatures.
