The peasant, his wife and their white bitch Topsy were walking along the crags towards the cliffs. The peasant walked his hands clapsed behind his back, looking at the ground, his wife behind him knitting.

The woman has answered that they can't because of their neigbour who can't be trusted, and has threated the man to throw the dog by herself.

Instead of the dog, the man pushed the woman off the cliff : she has crushed her head on a crag and drowned into the water of the ocean.
The man thought for a while and chose to leave the cliff and to go back to his house with the dog.
When they came back, the peasant fell on his knee and started complaining about what he had done.
