- The french were fighting against the British over the territory so they got in a war. The war was the french and Indians vs the British and The colonists.
- No Taxation without representation/Boston Tea Party
- After winning the french and Indian war was won by the British and Colonists they signed the "Treaty of Paris" to make it official and end the war. The treaty gave them control of the land from the Mississippi river to The Appalachian Mountains
- American revolution war
- After winning the French and Indian war the British was broke and decided to tax the colonies a lot for almost everything . In 1765 they passed the stamp act which all Newspapers and important documents needed to be made in Britain and stamped and the colonits need to pay for it
- American independence
- After being forced to pay unreasonable taxes the colonists decided to stop paying taxes all together and that was just the being.Three ships delivering tea were ambushed and all the tea was dumped into the sea as an act of aggression.
- After the British head about the Split tea they decided to send to troops to the colonies to move against the colonist and a black smith named Paul revere heard about this and jumped on his horse to warn the people shouting the "British are coming ". The next morning The British and colonist had there first battle in Lexington and The American revolution was Started.
- After a few battles the colonist were losing but the french saw this as an opportunity to help finally take down the British and they helped the colonists, But first they had to leave under the control of the empire and so they signed the declaration of Independence. George Washington lead many of these battles and won with the french help. After the British started losing they decided to surrender and sign a treaty. Finally the 13 colonies were seen as an Independent Nation.
