to find the percentage of tax you divide the amount of tax by the total earnings and time it by 100 in this case our problem would be 60/200x100=30%
let me give you an example if there's a shirt for 20 Dollars and there's a 15 percent discount on it what you would do is multiply the discount by the original price and divide by 100 15x20/1003.00 dollars off
