This quote is from a conversation between Molly and Vivian. It reveals that, even though Molly originally only interacted with Vivian so she didn’t go to juvie, now she likes spending time with Vivian and has a deep connection with her.

Within in this quote, Lily is realizing how much she cares for the Boatwrights . She finally understands how kind they were to take her in without knowing her, and treat her as one of their own.

This quote shows that Vivian and Molly have developed a deep connection and strong connection despite the fact that they are complete opposites. Vivian displays their strong connection by telling Molly that she gave her baby away. This is significant because Vivan has never told anyone about this except for Molly, which implies that Vivian really trusts Molly.
