Thats not fair.
Throughout the 1800's and earlier women were not permitted to vote.
What are you doing here? Voting is for men. Return to the kitchen
This isn't right!
In the late 1860's the women of America banded together to make a major political change. They fought for a right to vote.
We deserve to vote too!
Yeah!
The group of women grew and began their public fight for women's suffrage. They would become known as the suffragists.
From this moment on we shall be a team. A team that shall fight for our rights
We are now the suffragists.
MR PRESIDENT. HOW LONG MUST WOMEN WAIT FOR LIBERTY?
They protested and fought tirelessly. Many of the women were imprisoned but it didn't discourage them. The suffragists persevered.
