According to Newton's 1st LAW when the ball is served the ball will keep moving unless air resistance or friction causes it to stop.
Newton's 1st LAW States: An object in motion stays in motion, and an object at rest stays at rest unless acted on by an unbalanced force.
The resistance of the air makes the ball not stop in the air. It works as an unbalanced force stopping the balls INERTIA.Newton's 1st LAW is the reason the ball doesn't stop.
Newton's 2nd LAW
The bags have stuffed animals in them and the boxes have basketballs and baseballs in them. Maybe that has something to do with how easy it is to carry the bags and not the boxes.
I'm carrying these boxes with the same amount of FORCE and it's easier to carry the bags and harder to carry the boxes.
Newton's 2nd LAW States: The ACCELERATION of an object is dependent upon variables, the net FORCE acts upon an object and the MASS of the object.
I got it now! From what I know about Newton's 2nd LAW, The SPEED and direction of the bags and boxes is based off of the amount of FORCE I use to hold them and the MASS of the bags and boxes. Since the bags have stuffed animals in them and the boxes have basketballs and baseballs in them it is easier to carry the bags rather than the boxes.
Newton's 3rd LAW
AHH! How is the apple able to fall so fast and hit me in the head?
Newton's 3rd LAW States: For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
Since the apple is pushing itself up towards the tree the tree is pushing the apple down towards the ground which causes it to fall on the girls head. The apple falls through the air using GRAVITY at a fast SPEED.
