- The characters in the story are George, Lydia,Peter and Windy Hadley .The Hadleys had a smart house where technology did everything for them.
- falling action
- In the story the kids had a African Veldt as the walls in there nursery .In the nursery there was lions in the veldt moving around and eating.George thaught the only reason that the lions would be in the nursery was if there kids thaught about death.
- resolutuion
- The parent went into there room to change clothes. The parent agree to let there children have one more moment in the veldt before they lock it.Then all of a sudden the kids started to scream and cry out help so the parents run down there to help there kids.
- theme
- The parents run into the nursery to check on the kids but then the kids slammed and locked the door so there parents could not get out and there parents where locked in the room with the lions and could not get out.
- The children sit and have a picnic while there parents are eating by lions in the veldt. The children tell there therapist that there parent will be home shortley.
- The theme of the story is that technology can be a bad thing. Technology can make you more reliable on it to live than for your parents. This story is a good example of how the kids got to where the internet is more important to them than there parents.
