- Gilgamesh was 2/3 god and 1/3 mortal so he was not perfect. Gilgamesh would press his people with buildings and things like that. And they complained about that to the gods. Because Gilgamesh was pressing the people the gods created the wild man Enkidu.
- Gilgamesh and Enkidu hated each other and then Enkidu fell in love with Goddess Ishtar and Gilgamesh liked her and wanted her so Enkidu challenged him to a fight for the women but then became friends.
- Gilgamesh and Enkidu become bored and lazy so Gilgamesh thought of an adventure. Gilgamesh decided to go to the woods and kill Humbaba. After killing Humbaba Enkidu got sick and had bad dreams of the house of dust because he was cursed by Humbaba then he died.
- After his friends death he decides that he wants to be a full immortal so that he cant die. Then Gilgamesh travels to see the only man who is immortal/wise man and goes to visit him. He goes through a rough adventure but then arrives and the old man told him he has to stay awake for 6 days and 7 nights but then Gilgamesh falls asleep.
- Gilgamesh asks for a second chance so the old man told him about the plant that makes you immortal and its at the bottom of the sea. Gilgamesh goes to the sea ties rocks to his feet and then goes and captures the plant and when he came back up the shore he fell asleep and a snake ate the plant.
- Gilgamesh learned that being immortal is not why your human it is so that his name and structures etc. are remembered and loved.
