- Is this the defendant? I heard that he turned in by himself. He looks like he has already contrite a for his sins. Maybe I was wrong to stereotype him as a brutal murder. Who knows?
- It's so unfair! Johnny's the sweetest person I know, and he killed the Socs in self defense to protect ME. The law should protect the innocent and send people like Dally to jail. Not the other way ground! It's just wrong for the fuzz to put Johnny on the electric chair!
- To be honest, I don't really care if I can win this case. I just think it's unfair for Ponyboy to spend the rest of his life in shadows because of what I did.
- Your honor. As you can see from the video of that night's murder. It was either Bob's death or mine. Johnny merely saved me from being killed by a pernicious drunk-person, who first initiated the fight without reason. Also, Johnny has had past experience of being bullied by the soc, and those experience have left a deep scar in his heart. Therefore, what he did was a completely justice action. Had he not stop Bob, the case you will be handling now would be my murder. So please ,see the truth with your eyes.
- So unfair! The soc have the money and power to hire lawyers that are attacking our personal characters! I hope the juries can be reasonable and listen to the facts
- Order in the court!
- Objection, the witness is being speculative and not answering the question. May the jury reconsider the reliability of this witness. Remember, HIS a GANG member!How much truth can he say?
- This is really hard to decide. I suppose that the kid Johnny didn't really mean it. Besides, it was the socs fault for starting the fight after all. If I was Johnny, I would definitely do the same to save a friend.
- Don't you think that a hasty generalization? How can you just say that all "gang kids" are bad? I just saw the kid, Johnny, kneeling before the court and crying this morning. Clearly there's some good in his spirit. You're trying to make it seem like all gang members are killer at heart. But can't you tell that Johnny doesn't have the intention of murder at all? Please not stereotyping others! It's not right!
- I might not understand gang activities a lot. But I strongly believe the kid was innocent. He did the right thing that a good friend should've done and is completely forgivable. Those soc kids just did it too far! It's wrong to attack others like that.
- I don't care about what you're saying. I just think it's about time to teach those kids a lesson and make them grow up a little. The law can't forgive them forever.
- Listen dude, you clearly don't know what you're saying. Any kid who is involved in a gang is uneducated and rude. Do you really believe that it was for "self-defense"? I bet that's just a lousy excuse for their crimes. My jury vote is that Johnny is guilty as charge, that's my final choice.
