So we have free time after school and not worry about homework
Two Teenagers walked into the White house to talk to the President about homework. Their goal was to see if the president would rid the US of homework. And apparently, they got passage.
The answer is no, the world must have homework
Ugh!
Tom and Carl both entered the president's office leisurely. They walked in and were greeted by the President and then told him what they were here for. Tom and Carl though had a good explanation for why it should be exempt from schools.
This is so unfair, we need some kind of way to show this is important
Agreed
They told the president how they need more time after school to do things that rest their brains from all the school work they have been doing. They have a half an hour of conversation about the stress of sports. Lastly, they talked about how it makes people miserable because they don't want to do it.
After all that the president thought it over with its pros and cons. He thought about how it does take away time to relax, and from the stress of sports. He then thought about the cons and how it would change every teacher's lesson plans and how schools want them to review the information they learned. So he came up with a final decision and said no.
On the car ride back to school they complained about how they felt like they were rejected. Tom was thinking about a way to show this is an important thing. So in the end they decided to make a petition about it and get students to sign it.
When they got back to school, they made a petition so that every student in the high school would sign it and take it back to the president to see. A hoard of students went to sign the petition but one was not interested, and all they needed was one signature.
