Storyboard Description

this comic shows Actus Reus + Mens Rea (Wilful Blindness) . This comic in the first panel shows a girl going in a under pass where she intends to buy a valuable computer off a shady dealer and she asks if the computer is stolen , where the seller says its not, even though she is suspiscoius of the seller, then in the seconed panel it shows that the seller a day before they sold the computer , they had actually broken into a house and stole the computer they sold, and they say that after they steal this that they are going to sell it for a discounted price. The last panel shows the girl with the computer in her room , saying to herself that this is most likely stolen but no one gonna find out so who cares. this shows mens reus , because the girl who bought the stolen computer knew it was stolen but still decided to buy it. so she had a guilty mind. There is also actus rea in this story because in the seconed panel the seller broke into the house where the computer was and stole property, so there was physical element intedned to get the computer. for the seller the part of the criminal code that will be charged to them is 322-1 of the criminal code and will be charged with theft and breaking and entering. and the girl will be charged with section 354-1-a, she will be also charged with possesion of stolen goods.
