- Mrs Johnstone and Mr Johnstone meet at a dance floor and fall in love
- After Mr and Mrs Johnstone had 6 kids together, Mr Johnstone leaves Mrs Johnstone and all their kids leaving them with nothing
- Mrs Johnstone finds out she is pregnant with twins and is sad because she already doesn't have enough money to feed her other 6 children

- Mrs Johstone works in a house owned by the Lyons family. When Mrs Lyons finds out that Mrs Johnstone is having twins, she demands that Mrs Johnstone gives her one of them for $$$, since Mrs Lyons has been trying to have a baby for a very long time and have failed so far.
- Mrs Lyons names her son Edward and Mrs Johnstone names her son Mickey. They both are raised in different classes as Edward grows up with a middle-high class family and Mickey grows up in a low class family
- When Mickey and Edward grow older. One day, they finally meet each other but do not know that they are actually brothers. They become best friends but then are told by their parents that they are not allowed to meet each other
