  • When we chew our food starts in our mouth but how does it end up coming out. Well we start by breaking down the food by chewing.
  • What is the digestive system? This is about what your food passed to get you to the bathroom.
  • In the stomach food breaks down with liquids and moves to the small intestine.
  • After we stop chewing and swallow our food goes down with saliva and chewing. After swallowing the food mives to esophagus where it takes it to the stomach.
  • Where the red is, that is the small intestine. In the small intestine the food/nutrients is taken and food breaks down more.
  • The second to last step is the large intestine where the long tube or door to get to the small intestine and the rectum is.
  • These are only the main steps from the digestive system there are many more small steps.
  • The last step to the digestive system is the rectum the small little excit at the end of the long red tube.
  • The rectum is where your food excits and comes out leading you to the bathroom.
  • Hopfully you learned the 5 basic or main steps to the digestive system.
