- Meggy’s eyes fluttered open, greeted by a searing sunlight that sliced through the haze of unconsciousness. As her sense returned, she found herself sprawled in the dirt, surrounded by a setting that was both alien and unsettling.
- Marc?1
- Tari?!
- Cris?!
- The pain was in her leg stung, but she forced herself to ignore it, or try to, her hands reached for the holster on her leg, searching for her sidearm. Her gun wasn’t there. A wave of panic surged through her as she realized her means of protection was gone.

- Meggy searched for something of use, but a butter knife wasn’t much of a weapon and neither was a package of AA batteries. Meggy continued searching, but the thing that caught her attention was a full-length mirror, as Meggy looked at the mirror she noticed her apparel: a red cowboy hat on her head, she was wearing a white dress shirt and a brown leather combat vest, she wore jeans with an empty brown leather holster on her right leg, a leather pouch on her left thigh, leather knee pads and red cowboy boots with cowboy spurs.
