Darcy finally musters up the courage to ask her crush, Hakeem, out. He says yes, and they confess they both have had a crush on each other. They plan a date later that day at an ice-cream store.
Darcy is picking out a new outfit to wear for their date. She's nervous and it's their first date, and her first date ever. They're just going to an ice-cream store and it's nothing fancy, so she can't overdress.
Hakeem decides to not change his outfit before their date. He's a bit nervous for their date, but excited. Though, he thinks what he's currently wearing is a good option so he doesn't feel the need to change.
Darcy is on a subway train to get to a station close the an ice-cream shop where she will have her date with Hakeem.
Hakeem is driving to an ice-cream shop for his and Darcy's date, and he left late so he is a bit nervous he'll be late.
Darcy and Hakeem meet up at an ice-cream store for their date. They have a pleasant date and bond over new things they learn about each other and Hakeem asks Darcy out to a second date again sometime. She says yes.
