- That island over there, is Ship Trap Island, it has a reputation but not a good one. Many sailors are afraid of it
- Ha! That sounds like nonsense, you know how the sailors are

- Hello Rainsford! I am general Zaroff and this is Ivan
- In this scene it is late at night and Whitney and Rainsford are talking. This scene is not long before Whitney goes to bed and leaves Rainsford alone.
- climax
- Rainsford fell overboard and swam through the ocean. He followed the sound of gun shots and ended up in rocks on the shore of Ship Trap Island.
- falling action
- Rainsford knocks on the door of a mansion and is welcomed in by General Zaroff, then Zaroff introduces Ivan and that hes def and dumb. After a little of being together Zaroff explains the most dangerous game.
- resolution
- After Zaroff explains the game and Rainsford refuses to be his partner, Zaroff starts to hunt him. Rainsford has 3 days to hide and not have Zaroff find him
- It is the last day Rainsford is being hunted hes trying to escape from Zaroff. He jumps off rocks down onto the sore and Zaroff thinks hes won. Zaroff heads home smiling and proud.
- Rain sford sneaks into Zaroffs room and wins the game. Zaroff was fed to his hound dogs and Zaroff has never had such a good night of rest.
- Go ahead Rainsford, you won fair and square
