- Rock Cycle
- Just when I was going to change my name to Sedimentman, I realized that when sedimentary rocks are subjected to heat and pressure, metamorphic rocks are formed.
- Then as the climate changed, I started to think to change my name to Metamorphicman because when heat and pressure are applied to igneous rocks they become compact and turn into metamorphic rock.
- I have an identity crisis. I first was known as Lavaman because I started as magma and I was exposed to extreme heat. I am a molten or semi-molten rock mixture.
- Turns out that I will stick with Lavaman, because after the completion of the rock cycle, I melted back to magma.
- But then I learned that when metamorphic rocks that are exposed to weathering and erosion they break down into sediment. Sediments can be compressed and compacted to form sedimentary rocks.
- As it started to cool, I decided to change my name to Igneousman as this type of rock is formed by the cooling of molten magma.
