The Proclamation of 1763- King George III issued a document that prevented the colonists to settle past the Appalachian mountains, even if they were already settled there.

The Suger and Stamp Act- The French and Indian war had a big impact on Britain economically, so the British raised the taxes on sugar, stamps, paper, and other goods for the colonists.
No Taxation Without Representation- Parliament passed taxes without the colonist's input. This resulted in the colonists becoming very angry.

The Boston Massacre- British soldiers shot five colonists and killed two. This tragic event in history leads to the Revolutionary war.
The Boston Tea Party- American colonists threw 342 chests of tea into the harbor of Boston. This was caused by the British imposing the "No Taxation Without Representation". The British then shut down the Boston harbor and passed the intolerable acts.
