Without the work of your unit then perhaps this war would not turn out in our favor! You guys are defending your freedoms and mine that could never be vain!

  • 30 years later- 1973Tarawa Memorial Service
  • Hello All,Thank you for coming! I was corporal of the USS Marines 30 years ago during the battle of Tarawa one of the toughest battles in Marine Corps history. All of us have lost family and friends in this battle. 30 years ago I had trouble comprehending the death of our loved ones. I still have trouble understanding why them and not me but I have come to this conclusion. No matter who would’ve went we all fought for something. The American right to freedom which I have been fortunate enough to see generations embrace. The freedoms speech and expression and the democratic way of life.
  • And democratic freedoms are worth fighting for!
