  • Good day fellow earth inhabitants, I am here to find out what this ‘MRS GREN’ creature is! YOU SHALL TEACH ME!
  • OMG
  • I’m not a teacher but ok! Mrs Gren stands for movement, reproduction sensitivity growth respiration excretion and nutrition. If you fail on one of these things you are not a living creature.
  • Movement is the first part of Mrs Gren, plants turned towards the light and animals move their whole body to get from one place to another.
  • Reproduction, animals have babies and New plants Grow from seeds.
  • Sensitivity animals respond to changes around them and reacting to them e.g. worms move away from the light plants response to changes in their surroundings and react to them e.g. plants grow towards the light
  • Growth babies grow into adults and seedlings grow to plants
  • Respiration, plants use the oxygen in the air to burn food and to release energy and animals use the oxygen in the air to burn food and release energy.
  • Excretion, Animals must remove waste substances from the body e.g. carbon dioxide and urine, Plants must remove substances from the body cells e.g. oxygen and water vapour.
  • Nutrition food is used to provide energy animals eat plants or other animals green plants make their own food using the sunlight in a process called photosynthesis.
