- Climate change is when the earth gets hotter and it causes volcanic eruptions and changes the earth's orbit. Every time we cut down a tree it releases carbon dioxide which goes into space and speeds up climate change.If we carry on like this in 100 years there will be no more rain forest left. As the earth gets hotter lots of species, including humans, will find it difficult to adapt.
