- Hello, my name is Piscine Molitor* Patel, but you can call me Pi.
- God bless you!
- Vishnu bless you!
- Allah bless you!
- My story happened in the 70s. My father owned a zoo in India but he couldn't make any profit.
- Now I'm on a lifeboat in the middle of nowhere with a zebra, a orangutan, a hyena and worst of all, Richard Parker the tiger. God save me!
- Pi was born in Pondicherry, India. He is a christian, a muslim and a hindu .*Piscine Molitor: famous swimming pool in Paris
- I'm going to show you that I'm the boss here! If you want food, you must obey me!
- India's economy was getting worse, and Pi's family couldn't take charge of the animals.
- So Pi's father sold the animals, put them on a boat and set sail for Canada. However, the ship sank in a storm and everyone was killed, exept Pi.
- After a bloody battle for food, the zebra, the heyna and the orangutan are dead and Pi is now alone on the boat with Richard Parker.
- Pi and the tiger became close friends. Together they survived strom and starvation, and even explored a carnivorous island!
- At the end of the book, Pi and Richard Parker arrived at Mexico. Pi is rescued by the locals, but Richard Parker disapeared forever in the mexican jungle.
