- Meet Super Vaclav
- Super Vaclav is a person that lives in the Czech Republic.
- He wears a blue cape, mask
- He has become the scourge of Prague (Capital City in the Czech Republic)’s drug dealers, dog foulers and inconsiderate drivers. He targets almost anyone he regards as a nuisance, like illicit smokers, graffiti artists and residents who refuse to recycle their rubbish.
- HIs has used a forklift truck to lift a Mini that had been wrongly parked in a disabled parking bay. He left the car suspended two meters above the ground until the bewildered owner came back to claim it.
- He has followed people who dropped litter to make them return and put it in the bin. He has blocked the traffic on one of the busiest roads in Prague with a large banner urging motorists to protect the environment by walking or cycling to work instead.
- I think something is foul in this country and I’m frustrated because nobody will do anything about it. We’re all passive and seem completely indifferent, be it about politics or anything else.
- Super Vaclav said his deeds were intended to inspire his fellow citizens to civic action.
- I had no other choice but to put on a costume. I believe our country needs a superhero.
