- I DON'T HAVE SINGLE THING TO WEAR!!!HOW COULD I EVEN GO !???
- Ok Matilda, I can't see you like this anymore just tell me how much would an evening dress cost?
- Umm...I'm not really sure..maybe I could manage with 400 Francs..
- UHHH....I'm sorry to ask but could you please lend me your necklace for a day?

- Set up in Paris, FranceA young woman, named Matilda, dreams to live a life of luxury beyond her reach. One day, her husband comes home with an invitation to attend a fancy party. Matilda was excited but soon relalised she didn't have anything to wear that would make her stand out among the rest.
- Her husband was deeply saddened by the fact that his wife didn't have a dress to wear at the party, He decided to offer some money to Matilda
- Matilda was not just satisfied with the dress alone. She borrowed a necklace from her wealthy friend. She was now all ready for the party
- OH POOR MATILDA! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE...THAT NECKLACE WASN'T WORTH SO MUCH, IT WAS ONLY A FAKE ONE
- Malinda looked simply beautiful! She felt amazing but she didn't know whats in store. On her way back home she lost her necklace. After days of searching she decides to replace the necklace with another DIAMOND NECKLACE.
- Due to the debt caused by the necklace Malinda and her husband go through a really bad time. After days of hard work they successfully clear their debt.
- While Matilda was walking toward the market, she happens to meet her friend who gave her the necklace. She explains her situation and how they overcame it. Her friend tells her that the necklace was fake and wasn't worth so much of money. The readers are left to contemplate the irony of the situation
