  • smiling) I'm Sam. Noticed you've been working on this every day.
  • (arranging flowers) This garden has so much potential. I'm Alex, by the way.
  • hesitantly) Yeah, I find gardening calming. Helps me clear my mind.
  • (pauses, then opens up) Actually, yeah. I just told my Family I'm non-binary. It's been... a journey.
  • (sharing sketches and notes) These are just my thoughts on identity. It's like, I don't fit into this box society expects.
  • encouragingly) You can talk to me about anything. No judgments here.
  • (nodding in understanding) Yeah, I get that. I've been feeling kind of lost, too.
  • (tentatively) I've been thinking a lot about gender, too. Not sure where I fit in.
  • (standing beside Sam, admiring the garden) Look at how far this garden's come!
  • (smiling warmly) Yeah, and just like this garden, identities can be so diverse and beautiful.
  • happily) We're in this together, Sam. Always.
  • (gratefully) Thanks for being there, Alex. You've helped me figure things out.
