Hi! I'm Shaurya Chaturvedi of 10-C, and this is my comic strip about Ionic and Covalent Compounds
They're like people, always striving to be the best version of themselves, but in their case, they both need 8 valence electrons to be stable.
Of course ! a example of an Ionic Compound is : NaCl or Sodium Chloride it is considered Ionic because there's an electrostatic attraction between oppositely charged ions.
Shaurya, how do you think people are related to Ionic Covalent Compounds?
Sionil, what do you think is the connection of Ionic and Covalent Compounds?
A small alteration in the charge may change the chemical formula and the entire spelling of the compound, which makes it diverse.
How can you name Covalent Compounds?
It's fairly simple! You should just be familiar with the prefixes involved such as "Mono" for 1, "Di" for 2, and so on and so forth as well as knowing when to change the formation of words by adding suffixes.
And an example of a Covalent Compound :carbon monoxide;or CO. it is known as Covalent if there is a sharing of electron pairs between atoms.
Good morning Sir! Can you provide me examples of Ionic and Covalent Compunds?
I am Shaurya Chaturvedi and this concludes my comic strip about Covalent Ionic bonds!
